Christiane Kühl lives in Berlin as an author, editor and theatre maker. She works as an editor for Writing on. Occasionally she also presents events or writes texts online for the project.

worked as Head of the Editorial Team at rbb bevor joining WIR MACHEN DAS. Liane makes sure that the articles created within the project are published in the local press. In her free time, she enjoys travelling the world.

is a freelance Video Editor for WIR MACHEN DAS.

wrote her dissertation on the topic of migration and family in 2018. She’s been head of the editorial team for WIR MACHEN DAS since 2017 and is currently on parental leave.

is the project manager and also responsible for event management for Writing On. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and visiting flea markets.

Elisabeth Wellershaus lives and works as an author and editor in Berlin. She writes texts for WIR MACHEN DAS and edits magazines.

Patrick Kennedy is in charge of communications for WIR MACHEN DAS and a member of the management team. His aim is to strengthen the association’s visibility through meaningful communication – without taking the air out of poetry. Likes black tea.

Sophie Boitel is the Managing Director of WIR MACHEN DAS. Her main areas of expertise include diversity in art and culture as well as equality of opportunity and participation. In her previous work stations she worked for the German Federal Cultural Foundation, the Genshagen Foundation and S27- Art and Education.

Thao Nguyen studied social sciences and is a political education expert. She is the project manager of the Meet Your Neighbours initiative „Safe Art Space“ and also works for the assosiaction Migrationsrat Berlin e.V. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and being outdoors.

lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Berlin. Tascha is responsible for social media at WIR MACHEN DAS. When she’s not drawing or making pottery, she’s probably sitting in the park with a watermelon.

is office manager, picture editor and sometimes project manager at WIR MACHEN DAS. The art historian studied in Berlin, has worked for picture agencies and literature festivals, has helped organise exhibitions and loves roller skating.

Schokofeh Kamiz works as a freelance and independent video artist and filmmaker. She also runs workshops and works with various levels of education. For WIR MACHEN DAS, she is responsible for the project ‘Pipe Up! The Word Workshop’ in cooperation with Publix.

Annika Reich is co-founder and general director of WIR MACHEN DAS and Writing On. She writes novels and children’s books for C. Hanser Verlag and until recently columns for „10nach8“ on Zeit Online.

is Writing On’s Press Representative and also writer who lives and writes in Berlin. Her debut novel ‘An der Grasnarbe’ was published by Suhrkamp Verlag in 2022.

is part of the management team at WIR MACHEN DAS and currently on maternity leave. She cares about creating a good working atmosphere and continuously improving and growing the association. Besides that, Patricia likes to keep the office neat.

is the Artistic Director of Weiter Schreiben, author and journalist. He writes novels and reportages, was co-initiator of the European Writers‘ Conference & has been working as a literary mediator for many years.

is responsible for arranging Meet Your Neighbours events all over Germany. The topic of his PhD was pity in the medial sphere. He likes stories, well-managed projects, and collaborative creation and experiences.

is a Syrian poet, author and journalist. She has published poetry, children’s books and essays, and her works have been translated into several languages. She is currently doing the Weltoffenes Berlin fellowship with us.
